China, Summer 1999

Eventually I am going to write a little bit more about what made me come here. In just a few words, I am here together with two other MIT students (one from the Shanghai area and one from Singapore) teaching Internet at Xindu No1 Middle School. The program will last 6 weeks. We are teaching three courses, two weeks each. We are teaching both students and teachers.

Before coming to Xindu (a small town near Chengdu in Sichuan province in south-western part of China) I spent three days in Beijing -- I had to stop there to buy a ticket to Chengdu.

This program is organized by MIT-CETI.

The Team Reports are the reports that the three of us wrote as a team. They are heavily self-censored but they often cover different aspects of the trip than my personal reports.
